Milton Yang
CEO & Founder
Milton Yang is the founder and President of Evergreen General Agency. He holds degrees in mechanical engineering from the National Taiwan University (B.S.) and the University of Mississippi (M.S.) which saw use as an engineer at NASA, working on shuttle re-entry materials and shuttle payload robotics.
With multiple decades as an entrepreneur within the insurance industry he has successfully operated as an agent, founded an independent insurance agency, and most recently founded Evergreen (MGA) while adding on a Masters in Risk Management & Insurance from Florida State University.
He is deeply involved with the Taiwanese community through groups like the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office (TECO) and the Taiwanese Heritage Society. He has also been Vice Chairman of the Board at Golden Bank for nearly four decades. In his spare time, he hits the driving range and also seasonally conducts various Taiwanese choirs throughout the greater Houston area.
